Mrs. Cammy Beard

My name is Cammy Beard and this is my 18th year of teaching. I earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from San Diego State University. Then went on to complete the credential program and earn a Master in Education through National University. I have three children who attend OLPH, Joseph 9, Stella 7, and Walker 4. I have been married for 11 years to my husband David. We live on a working cattle ranch in Caliente and love spending time outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, cooking, gardening, running marathons and going on adventures with the family!

In my sixth grade classroom, students study Language Arts, Math, and Religion. I team teach with Mrs. Tyner who teaches Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies. Sixth grade is such a great age to grow deeper in faith, dive into novel studies, and sharpen skills through project based learning and collaborative groups. In our classroom, “We try everything at least once, we learn from mistakes, and we never, EVER give up!”
